The Co-Pay for the Suboxones is going to kill my

family's budget. I feel so bad. The doctor has to prescribe the amount to fill at 1 weeks worth. 1 weeks worth. 2 weeks worth. 2 weeks worth. And eventually he can prescribe them months at a time. That's 160 in the first month and a half. :[ I feel real bad about my mom paying for this. I have no job and no money in the bank, so I can't do anything about it at the moment. Maybe I'll pay her some of it back when I get a job.

Ditto to all the above. But I am wondering how you afforded the opiates? Usually the sub is less expensive than feeding your habit.

honey don't let the fuilt get to you. Do as the others suggest, get on the medicine then
taper off of it when you are comfortable, or when the doc suggests. Let the doctor
know you have heard of folks on it as less as a couple weeks, and had a good outcome.
I myself was on it for 10 months, but I ave good insurance. I'm off of it, feel good,
still grieving the loss of my kids dad, he passed six weeks ago, cancer. But  i'm
done with the shyt........... At least for today. I take it a day ata time. But I'm feling
positve these anys, and addiction with opiates is the worst... Good luck sweetie........................
And,,, for your info, I would put out the money for anyone of my children in a heartbeat.

Most Mom's are willing to do what is needed to help their kids. You can pay her back someday. For now, I'm sure she'll just be happy to see you get your life in order.  Good Luck

After the first 10 days get down to as low a dose as possible. This will save money also and make tapering off easier.  It's great that your mom is helping you.  It will help you get your life back in order. Then you can pay her back.  Take care of you right now.
