The state of our economy, what's right and wrong

Here is food for thought...

and let me preface this with the fact that I'm relatively liberal in thought...

The state of California is looking at and probably will give at some point this year it's employees IOU's instead of paychecks...not to mention the furloughs they have already given (two unpaid days off per month for state employees = about 10% pay loss)...

I feel like a jerk for saying this next thing, but oh well...Welfare checks will still be cashable!

People who work will not get paid and people who do not work will get paid...makes one think!

Don't feel bad........be angry.  We Californian's have the right to be.  I truly believe the wildfires are what contributed to the crisis here, but what can we do........I never get money back, but really want to see what a IOU looks like...........

I know what your saying and don't feel bad for feeling that way..........we are all very uneasy and resentful right now.

Those fires crippled us........that's why Arnold almost broke that female reporters arm......that was pretty bad on his part, but he was under so much stress......we were fine until fires........did you see that water dropper we borrowed from Canada.....holy ba jezees could only imagine what that cost........

Yeah, hun.......Arnold ran a tight ship, but U can't fight nature, or I guess you can, but its gonna cost you billions.......lol.

IOU's??  How the hell do you feed your family with a friggin IOU??  This makes my blood boil...and badsneakers I am right there with you.  This state is in a serious pickle and us hard working tax paying peeps are gonna PAY the price.  It is a scary scary time.

So ridiculous. What if I sent the government an IOU cuz I couldn't afford to pay my taxes? What if I told them I have more important bills to pay? Makes me sick.

I have heard of a cashless society..but that's not what I envisioned. How does one use an IOU?

I like the idea of sending the IRS an IOU...hmmm, would that even work?....
