W/d pain...or should I get checked out?

Was wondering if anyone during the first stages of w/d get a sharp rib pain and it shoots to my side.  I don't know what it is...it started mid afternoon.  Just wondering it anyone else had a sharp pain like this or should I get checked our.  W/D pain or something else?

I meant to say I hope the universe is not throwing things your way that they are throwing me.

But I see that they are not and that is well deserve.  It is my day 9 so congrats on your day 10.  Please don't stop counting days.  They are a beautiful reminder I what can be done.

I know there was a time I thought I could not go ONE day, you hear ONE day and look day 9.  It helps to count....see.

Hope the universe keeps throwing good things your way....I know it will throw so good stuff this way to...imma believer.

I think because of all the intestinal problems that is was probably gas trapped. I am happy that you are feeling better.

I still am having the rib pain and notice it more at night. If I lay on my side it really hurts. I will ask my doc about it Tues. If you don't have a fever it is a good thing. Keep you eye on it and if you're sick to your stomach or have the tarry black stools, call the doc.

Yeah, I can.  

I'll see how I do tonight.  I  think the tarry part may come from the fact I was on percs for a long time and didn't go... don't have a fever.  I see how I feel in the morning.  Gonna lay down for a while.

okay.....i used to work for a pediatric gastro guy.  if you cannot hop on your right foot w/o sever pain, it could be your appendix. In combination w/ black or tarry stools, you definately need to be checked out.  

can you hop on your right foot alone?

Thank you....didn't know that.  I'll go tonight.  Maybe it's time to tell someone say they can go w/ me.  Maybe I'll just take my labtop and you all could go w/ me.  I don't even want to even go to the doctor and thell them about the pain...scarred they may offer me something for the pain...and I'll get weak...and take something.

Sh*t I am so tired of this.  This morning I was fine.  Now look.

It would mean you are bleeding internally. If it is black and tarry you should go to a doctor or emergency room. Also take your temperature and make sure there is no fever.

It's on my right side.  It kinda hit me hard...just a little worried.  Don't have a fever.  Do have chills,,,but that I know is the w/d.  Maybe the pain isn't even that bad..may overly sensitive.

I have had that for awhile and thought it was from a fall. It is more than likely a pulled muscle. I wouldn't worry about it. Did you take your temp?? My doc always tells me if you have no fever, it is most likely nothing to worry about. Check your stools and make sure they are not black or tarry. You will have all kinds of pain from w/d's. Hang in there!!!

Huh. I've gotten aches and pains before, but don't remember where. Your big problem is if you go down they may dismiss you as a junkie in withdrawal and not take you seriously, essentially wasting your time. I usually wait a day or two on that stuff and see if it goes away, but that's me. It's probably nothing...but do you feel secure in waiting until the withdrawals are over?
