Welcome Message- Posting Concerns?

I'm sorry, I truly don't mean this to be rude,   but could you please explain the moods of "please read the welcome message prior to posting".  We are all adults, if there is a problem, perhaps I am in the minority, however I would truly appreciate direct, honest communication of what is the problem that is obviously happening  with current postings.  If I have posted inappropriately,  please let me know. If there is an on-going problem, IMHO it is best to specify what is the issue  so us "old timers" can know what we need to change,  or more importantly help guide the new members  posting inappropriately in the right direction.  I welcome and ask for your feed back,  because I am truly in the dark as to what is the problem...   (yes I know it won't be my first time!!  :)           Thank you for your help.

There have been new posts made about wanting dosing directions on pills that have been gotten from either friends or on the streets.  We are not to be giving that type of info out.  We also are not to make threads about identifying pills that are not prescribed to us.  This is dangerous behavior and to give out any info could be deadly.  We are here for support.  None of us are doctors.  All of this is in the welcome post on the SA forum.  I hope this clears some answers up for you.         sara

I could not agree with you more,  and those types of posts you refer to,  or more specifically, the uneducated answers to these questions are extremely dangerous.....   we truly are talking about people's lives.  Thank you so much for your quick response and clarification.
