Haha my friend and I were having this exact conversation the other day. I can see maybe another album and maybe a live DVD from Tool, then sadly I bet they'll be done. What do you think, one more tour? I can't picture Danny Carey being able to rock out to something like ticks and leeches as an old man anyway, jesus, that man is nuts ... Have you seen them before? Best show ever.

As for here? Usually lots of bands come through here but with all the earthquake damage, they've been skipping right over Christchurch, so mostly just small, local NZ stuff.
oh, and Roger Waters is coming..... but to the north island and I'm in the south :(

I saw them in 2006 on that small arena tour (it was seriously in a place the size of a high school gym, so cool), and then again in 2007 on a bigger one. I didn't get into them until high school, unfortunately, so I missed out on the Lateralus tour (I would've been like 14 lol).
Luckily though, at the first show I went to, they played plenty of older stuff. Even some from Undertow.

And yeah, SERIOUSLY! What I'd give to see just Dark Side live... or Animals... or Syd. RIP :(
