What's Your Weather?

whats everyones weather like right now? We got 4.5 inches of snow last night and the schools are on a 2 hour delay which is good news for me particularly because I can NOT find my 5 yr olds snow boots!!!!!! I've looked everywhere and they are nowhere to be found! Not sure what I will do if they dont turn up! He cant go walking out there in shoes, his feet will be soaked and frozen in 2 seconds! UGH!   anyhow, we get a small break after this little storm, and then an ice storm is predicted for late THurs nite/Fri morning. I hope that doesnt close school on Friday, as its supposed to be the day of my sons class CHristmas party, his 1st one since he is in Kindy and I dont want him to miss that (especially since he missed the cool Halloween party because he was sick). SO im crossing my fingers we dont get the ice storm!

it is 30 right now, we had an unusally ice storm on Monday night, got about 3 inches. suppose to warm up today in the low 50's.

it stays around the high 70s til i leave the house...then its winter in cleveland!!  it's rained the past 2 days...then froze...then rained...then froze. only four and a half more months to go!!!  i shouldn't complain about the rain though...still never had to shovel any rain. feel lucky to not have any kids at the moment...i like dry carpets.

I got snow too!  About 4 inches and we also have that ice/snow storm headed for us on Thurs/Fri.  It usually takes me 20 minutes to get to work, but it took me 1 1/2 hours this morning.  First I got stuck in my driveway/road - there's about 3 inches of ice beneath the snow we just got.  Then there were accidents, hope nobody was seriously hurt.

COLD.... it was 28 last night.. for some I realize that's not cold, but here in Cali. theres NO insulation in the houses!!! I guess they didn't think it would ever be cold enough! But BRRRRRRr everything is covered in ice! :P

about an inch of snow last night..in the 30's...much better than last weeks 4 days without power and freezing temps..thankfully we have power when there are a lot of people in New Hampshire who may not have it back before Christmas.

It's very cold here.  We had snow all day Saturday with some snow on Sunday.  It snowed most of yesterday.  Today it's cold, but sunny and beautiful.  The mountains looks wonderful with the snow caps.  It's such a wonderful sight - I am sitting here looking out of my office window at the snow caps and it always marvels me.  We're supposed to get more snow late tonight into tomorrow and then again on Friday I believe.  Then the weekend should be clear and cold!  We've been told we'll definitely have a white Christmas because the weather will not warm up enough for the snow we have to melt.

Sadly, the other day one of the ski resorts (Snowbird) had two avalanches close to the resort.  This was the first time in 31 years.  A young woman died.  Usually the avalanches only happen in the open country not near the resorts.  But, it looks like the snow that was up there had already become icy and so the new snow on top was too loose.  That's one thing that makes me nervous, especially since we do not usually see these types of accidents until the weather starts to warm.

However, I am a snow lover!  :)

Lol. I was talking feet, haha. We have more snow already then we did all of last year, literally breaking weather records here. I would say we have about 2 ft, disgusting and it's snowing right now. Normally we do not get snow till january. this *****. ok so 18 ft was a bit of an exageration:)

It's 10 degrees and starting to snow...I've been in NH this week and our office had been without power for 8 days....several people who I work with have been told not to expect power before Xmas...What a drag..  The power came back on  in the office Bldging last evening..
