What's the worst thing you've ever been bitten by?

Or, what's the worst bite you've ever gotten?

I have to think on this one. the Baron has been bitten by many, many things. Fish, mammal, fowl, reptile, insect, furniture...

I'm not sure if furniture counts, but I had a dresser drawer that I'd swear that sucker had a bloody minded disposition and it slammed shut of it's own accord and bit me on the hand.

Then there's that attic door that closed out of the blue and bit me on the head. Hmmm... don't think those count.

I think I may go for the snapping turtle as the worst bite I ever got. Then again, there was a possum that fot hold of me something fierce once time... ah, so many bites to choose from!!!


ARGH, I just remembered that hell bound goat. It must have bitten me at least four times.

lol baron, if i listed all household things that bit me it'd be a book...as for real bites Ive had...mostly from my very own pets.. years ago the pet squirrel i used to have bit me pretty good.  Had an old half blind dog of mine bite the back of my calf, had a neighbors cat bite my thumb (it was a housecat that escaped and she managed to get in the dog pen of theirs which had a pitbull and rottie in it..i jumped the fence to save the cat and got bit for it lol. the cat was fine though). Let's see what else has bit me..i think thats about it aside from 19 quadtrillion bugs and bees and such.  Never been bit by a spider thank God...eagle Im so sorry to hear of your misfortune with that brown recluse!! how horrifying!!! i am very grateful we dont have those spiders in this area (so they claim anyhow, and Ive never seen one, knock on wood). I hope you heal fast!

My mini Schnauzer mauled me pretty bad last Christmas day. Some might remember the pics I posted. It was pretty nasty. This is my little "sweet pea" that sleeps with me every night........how could she do such a thing to her momma.   Actually it's probably my fault for getting in between her and Zippy during a fight, but still ......how could she.

Might as well get a few chuckles out of everyones misery I suppose.  My FIRST spider bite was the absolute worst.(Yep - this is number 2) Tissue necrosis, pain, and swelling were in a race for first place. My foot retracted to a "runners stance" and I had no nervous system control over it..........still have three scars that range from silver dollar size to about a nickle in diameter running up my calf..............They say that I am lucky that I didnt die.
