Whos afraid they will use THIS WEEKEND!

The weekends here. People got paid, those pesty texts from the dealers just came through on the phone! What to do! The weekends used to be sooo hard for me to get over. This is my first weekend as I quit on Monday. This time I quit really hurt and the thought of spending 50 or 60 bucks on pills or just the thought of seeing a pill makes me wanna hurl. this weekend no problem for me. You? If your thinking about using ask yourself why ?Odds are its just a really bad habit that will take afew weekends to  get over. If your thinking about using read some of the pain on this site. The pain that only comes from using. Weather its Tuesday or Friday night.  Monday is only afew days away. What you do tonight will affect how good your next week is gonna be. Try and be strong. Ill try too. I wish you luck and could use just abit myself. Haha. As Im writing this the addict in my mind is twisting things around making those pills not so disgusting. HAHA! I find that funny. I know that passes. Its still funny though. Just goes to show just how powerful that stuff is.  Be strong everyone! You desirve it.

There are a couple things that stand out for me in your post.  One being that while you are outside you get a couple texts from you know who......You shouldnt have their numbers in your phone.  There will come a time when you may not just close your phone back up.  This addiction has a way of rearing its ugly head when you least expect it.  The other comment was this being a bad habit that will take a few weekends to get over.....I wish that was the case.  This will be with you for as long as you live.  I have been clean for over 21/2 yrs and i still have to work my program daily.  Just keep your Guard Up.......Enjoy your weekend~~~~~sara

I love music! I forgoet about music when Im on that stuff. Music is how I really know when things are getting better. When the music goes up, thats a very good sign. Its funny, after I posted this I went outside and was pretty content, two texts came through and we know who they were from. I chuckled to myself closed my phone, took a deep breath, and thanked god. Ill make it this weekend. Hope everyone else can do the same.

I'm going to stay drug free too.  Going to chill tonite and see if I can get some motivation to clean tomorrow, put some music on and get busy (funny how music makes you feel better).

It's amazing how when u "need" your pills u can't find any and when u quit u can't stop them from calling. Well too bad - I'm done paying thier bills. I'm going to live this weekend the way I plan on living my life ..... DRUG FREE. Be strong and I'll pray for u

Hey!  YOU stay strong!!   Those little voices have a way of screaming at ya!  And just when you think you've got it under control,you start dreaming about the $hit!!!  LOL
