google your screen name

did you know if you goggle your screen name your journals will be on the internet? I thought those were our own personal journals just for people reqistered here with MH. why would MH allow that this to happen? I have deleted all my journals and changed my profile. I don't care for my personal information to be available to anyone. I am very disappointed

Yeah I was a bit worried too at first but lets see how many mikes they have down south...... It really does not matter I have no reason to worry anyone looking here for me on the net................ maybe in person but not on the net... LOL

Well I guess I will be deleting some things to!!!! Dang it it takes time to write things and to post pictures there should be a privacy setting for this site. I guess since this site is a no fee site forum then thats why it goes straight to google and all other search engines!!!
I am deleting some things too......

When I first came here that really freaked me out I too deleted everything I could and was afraid to post.. Well I needed this place more then my fear of people reading something from a girl named lesa I had found one of my journal entry's once and that took some searching there are a lot of 10356 out there.. Anyway that entry was shared by medical students in a school setting I was talking about the pain of my injury and the need for pain pills but also decribing how the emotional need was there (along these lines) after I had reread it and thought about the use they were finding for it I let it go... As for pics kinda hard to pick out where you are in the world if you do not put into many details.. When I was kicking I thank goodness for the peps that made photos available as I had spent many hours awake looking at things I had never seen before.. It helped so much and to read that others have felt my pain.. It is a large part of what had endeared me to a forum..
Just thought I would give a different perspective.. I wish us all the best in our recovery.. What ever gets us clean :)) lesa

I googled mine and there are many other lady67's in other forums, so I am safe.  I never posted my personal information or photos for this very reason.

my pictures and profile was also available, so I have deleted my pics and my profile. I am very upset. didnt find any of my notes or pm's so for now they are safe.
