i need to know this

my mother in law is at my home.  tonight there was this awful smell to come thru my house it almost smelt like sh*t, but stronger and something else.  i'm thinking she was smoking crack in the bathroom because she had been in the bathroom.  I smelled it for a few minutes before I said something because i thought maybe she was using the bathroom.  i asked her if she had used it and she said no and i also asked about the smell and she said she smelled it when she went into the bathroom.  she tried to say that it was the pipes in the bathroom, (suage) i don't know if thats spelled corectly.  but the smell went away after about 10 minutes.  do you guys know anything about this.  she's really gonna have to leave my house.

Unless you have open windows and a problem with the heighbors you probably have a problem with the mothr in law ..... smells are often used to disguise crack- and crack is rather heavily chemical and as an odor all its own ........ how long was sge in there ...... my wife pointed out that only druggies us the bathroom for hours an end ......   BTW - the pupes in bathrooms have P ans S traps to keep that smell from entering the house ... nice try, but .......

The only way sewage odor can get thur your pipes is that the pee trap also known as S trap is dry it holds water so the odor cant get back n the house. Is this bath room used all the time is there a sink or tub that is not used if the water dries up on the traps odor will come back in, I used to do pluming. Oh and all mother in laws smell that way LOL

Iv' never heard of crack smelling like ****!!!I maybe she went#2 and didn't want anyone to know (embarssing) have you ever known her to do drug's? If not i wouldn't jump the gun. She also couldofhad gas never know (anyway) it's not a question thati would ask one of my family meber's unless it was my child.i may hve said no to if some one asked me abt#2 it would depend on yall's relationsip.

Oh, boy.... you are so young and having to deal with such a burden...you are in UK and there must be some phonelines that could help you and you could talk to them and being helped  about places where you could find a more practical help.
