laws on tapering

Does anybody know if we as addicts have any rights regarding tapering off suboxone?  I mean at first they said 36hrs and like magic all your symptoms would be gone..  But now I think they realize that it could take weeks to even come over the hump!!  A lot of people are suffering and I think laws should be enacted on how these people dispence and taper addicts.....  Any thoughts?

It is way too unique to the individual and the individuals circumstances to legislate.  The Government cannot even administer a junk car program............
