hi everyone hope and pray all is well for all its hard to go threw withdrawls i want off i need to go threw surgery still taking forever to get a approval so on pills for now hate them sometimes i run out go threw withdrawls so thats my story im a mom of three a homemaker love life love my husband hes also on pain meds two years for me five for him hes chronic pain is their any momies as young as me going thre the same thing here and if so how do you deal with the kids while kicking any suggestions if so will be greatfull for any advice

It's real hard to deal with children OR adults when we're in withdrawal. Kids are one heck of alot smarter than we give them credit for. My youngest has downsyndrome. He can't talk very well. But one day when I was biting a pill in half, he said, "Mom don't take poison"!!   He said it clear as a bell. I was shocked. We think our kids dont know what is going on. But they do. And they resent it. I'm glad you want off. Maybe you should take the pills as perscribed while you wait for the surgery then you won't have to withdraw. I would have to know how old they are to give suggestions about what to do with them. I care for children for a living. We have FUN since I got off opiates 2 years ago.
