olo Flight

Well, I was finally able to take my solo flight today.  I have been trying for weeks, but weather problems kept washing it out - no worries though, that gave me more time to prepare, making today a great flight for me.  I was not nervous, but so excited.  I did three take off and landings all by myself.  Next I will start cross country flying - short distances, then log some time on my own - a little night flying, then I am a full pilot!  I posted a pic on my profile of me with the plane today after my flight.  Thanks to being clean and support from this site to help me stay clean - otherwise I would have never had this opportunity.  

It's snowing like mad here - calling for up to 2 feet by the time things are over tomorrow - fun!  No flying in this!

Avis - I am LMAO reading your comment.  The funny thing is that an Oleo fight could be fun - Do you remember water beds?  Ever heard of a crisco party?  Put crisco on the water bed mattress and - you guessed it.....anyhow, thanks for your comments, this one was just as fun as the flight!

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL I am sooooo happy for you that is great .The funny thing is there is a brand of vegtable shorting call oleo  soooooo I saw I guess it my dirty mind oleo fight so I you were getting in a ring full of vegtable shorting and wrestling that would have been really great too !!!!!!! LMAO ok so I have not gotten much sleep lately we will blame it on that....hehehehe

FLying with my dad brings back so many good memories.  There is a real freedom up there isnt there?  Hard to explain.
