post surgery

Im post surgery they cut down my pain meds fast now am experiencing palpitations is that normal with hydrocodone usage.I had two hip replacements.Thanks
I had also taken these for a year prior because of pain, someone with knowledge help please.Im taking 5/325 twice a day before it was 10/325 six times a day..please please help Im 65 yr old female.

you need to talk to your dr.  it sounds to me like they need to wean you off more slowly. at your age, not being mean, that quick of a taper is too fast.  i have worked with elderly women for years, and there are just troo many things that can go wrong with sensitive body systems.  the heart included.  a more gradual taper should be ok.

Panic/anxiety issues, along with palpitations are classic w/d symptoms. Tell your Doc ans ask for help with them.
