suboxone study

Question

Hi all,  just an update on how i have done with the suboxone.  I did great until I went to 1 pill 2mg on Sat.  That afternoon i was climbing the walls.  Finally at 8 p.m i went ahead and took my last sub, which was suppose to be for the next day.  I had anxiety so bad, i didn't know if i would make it.  I was even taking clonidine throughout the afternoon and night.  But, the good news is, yesterday no anxiety and today i feel even better.   So, no more pills but i am still going in for the study and to see a counselor.  I just didn't know I would go through that withdrawal thing, but i should have as the Dr. told me I would have some.  
But, all in all I would certainly do the suboxone again.  It was a dream compared to cold turkey.   Good luck to you all wherever you are on your journey.  TJack

Steph, any idea how long i will be in this funk?  depression?   My sleep sucks and the ambien or lunesta is not helping much more than a few hours a night.

That sounds like a really good taper plan. I sjould try it. I've been on it since May.

I think for 24 days.  I was on 8 mg. for days and then tapered to 6mg for 6 days, 4 mg. for 4 days, 2mg. for 2 days and that's when i got into trouble.
But, i am better.  Just have this depression hanging over me.  I hope it passes soon.  I hate it. TJack

Thank you both and Fladdict and everyone else for caring.  I am feeling much better this evening.  Hoping to feel great again real soon.  Yes, i am so glad to get to continue seeing the drs. and counselor over at the Study center.  I do believe the Suboxone was a Godsend but just wasn't expecting that anxiety on sat.   But, thankful i made it through.  Best wishes to you all and I will continue to post and update.  TJack

Hi Hun!

I was hoping to hear from you. I am sorry you had a rough patch there. I am also surprised. I did the Sub for 16 days, and did not have any symptoms..they were light in comparison.

You keep up the good work. I am pulling for you.
