tattoo's

OK, we should get more men  in this discussion...who has tattoo's as you all already know I have two, on my left ankle
is my kids names, and on the right a flower..I want to add a thorny vine around the kids names and a dragon fly on my foot...I know at my age why would I do this you ask...I love them and once you get one you want more...so come on guys...what do you have?

roses and thorns around wrist

i've got eight, three are on my "photos" in my profile..  i have an italian flag on my right back shoulder blade about 4" x 3", i've got an armband on my right arm, a design i drew that has the italian flag colors. btw, it connects all the way around and believe me, when getting it two inches from your armpit, you must bite on something. i've seen big narley biker types whose armbands don't connect, so i feel like a tough guy, lol.  i have a spiderweb on my left elbow (that one hurt too). a devil on my left shoulder (my 1st, looking at cover ups lately).  and initials of my ex-wife on my inner right arm with date we got married, similar to the one of my daughter's on my left inner arm. covering that one also.. i think that's it..   i love them, very addictive..    -jesse-

i'm not a tattoo fan for myself b/c i can't make that committement.... marriage was the biggest committement i could make...and i was like 30 when i finally did it...LOL... BUT if I got one it would be little tribal turtles walking down my leg / ankle onto my foot and they would be bright colors like red, purple, blue etc...

I have:

Stars around my ankle
A little flower at the top of my neck
A butterfly on my left sholder
A butterfly in the middle of my back
A design (cant describe it, lol) at the bottom of my back
A japanese symbol on my right arm
A little cat holding a love heart on my hip (1st tattoo....getting it covered into a celtic sun)
A Glyph on my wrist
A lily going up my side (with a butterfly just off it)

Booked another one for my back........a dragon fly. I have like a fantasy theme going on down my left side. LOVE tattoos.

I have a sea serpent on my upper left  arm and a scull with top hat, cane and a pair of dice showing craps a (one and two) on my upper right arm  from my days in the Marines. So they could send home the right person if things came to that..

I have to go Back to Indiana in August and already make plans to add more, I want to put a thorny vine around my kids name and add my dragonfly to my foot...excited about it...My boys told me once you get one you can't stop...lol they are so right. here is the almost, yeah I said almost 50 yr old talking and planning tattoos. I didn't get my first one until I was 40 so I need to catch up with you youngans. lol

3. my new one...my kids footprints from the day they were born, one from each of them, with their names on my lower back. Such a great tatoo!!

I have 2 :) One on my upper middle back that says NOR~CAL with the norcal design star on it and then a flower with vines on my lower back. I should post pics!! :)

My husband is a tattoo artist.  Sooooo, you would think I would be covered in them but alas I am not.  Actually he has only done two of my tats & added stars to one. However I do have 9 tats....
1. little heart on my left tata (added a string to it yrs. L8r) will also be added to
2. a hermaphrodite  fairy with butterflyish wings on my left shoulder (*w/stars*)
3. a 4 leaf clover on my left ankle (outside) that yrs. L8r  became a beautiful flower
4. my daughters name on my right ankle (outside) that yrs. L8r became a flower
5. my sons name on my right ankle (inside) will become something else L8r
6. a dream catcher  on my left tata will become something else L8r
7. a star on my right foot toe next to the big one (FYI, it was the most painful)
8. on my left hand ring finger the *infinity symbol with a heart in the middle*
9. a big *flower* on my right hip  

* indicates the ones my hubby did

So there you have it my tattoo history!

Ok, here's my list - I have ideas lined up for new ones soon tho!
-paw prints going up the side of my neck
-kanji on my chest (inbetween the girls) with my bf's initals -kinda vague just in case..;)
-kanji for wisdom on the back of my neck
-irish claddagh going around my wrist
-2 faeiries on the side of my calf w/my initials on a banner

I have plans to do a sleeve on my left arm to cover up my teenage woes...  :)

I love my tattoo's and I already have my next one ready to go. My first is my ladybug bracelet around my wrist, the other wrist is a tribal purple butterfly design. On my neck I have a really cute baby dragon and on the back of my neck I have a big sun, I took it from the aol celestial wallpaper. Can't wait for my next one.

I'm not a big tatoo fan (or little tatoo fan) but I have been thinking of getting a little grateful dead dancing bear somewhere.  My wife got a couple of roses on her shoulder a couple years ago (1 red, 1 yellow) after our girls talked her into it.

I have three tatts
1 on my right shoulder its a celtic design/ A big one on the base of my back ,  Thats a tribal design and an egyptian symbol its an eye on my right arm.
I have to say i love all of them and i want to get more
Maybe ill get one to mark the day when im finally clear from all drugs
hopefull that wont be long so i'd better start thinking abut what im gonna get.,.....

Never say never...I never wanted a tattoo, however, after breast reconstruction....yes, they tattoo the areola.  So consider me tattoo-ed now!
