can a friend of mine be arrested for using multiple perscriptions of tramadol. she goes to 2 doctors and she told me she take approx 6-12 pills a day of tramadol and she says she is still in pain....this is just so she can cope. she is not the addict type at all. please advise so i can tell her asap and not let her get into trouble
You just posted on the addictionDrug abuse and dependence side and said that it was YOU going to 2 doctors.Theres no need to lie here. We're not here to judge anyone.
As far as you saying you are not the 'addict type',not sure what that means.Theres not really a type.We come from all different walks of life,us addicts that is.
If you or 'your friend' are having legitimate pain and the trams aren't helping, why not stick with one doctor and explain that to them and let them help you?
I responded to your post on the addictionDrug abuse and dependence side and like I said I don't know anything about the laws in Georgia.I live in Pennsylvania and what you are doing is considered doctor shopping and where I am from you can get in a whole mess of trouble for that.
Just curious...On the other post you said you didn't want to take narcoticsDrug abuse, why is that? And like I said on the other post....are you aware that trams are just as addicting and from what I've read harder to come off of then most other opiates?..Kim
Yes you can get in trouble its called doctor shopping in any state and don;t matter if your addict or not still aganist law. Why not tell your doc the amount is not helping instead going to docs. It's also a felnoy
If you or your friend is not an addict now you will soon be. You or your friend whatever sure are showing some addict behavior. They call it drug seeking behavior. That my friend is what us addicts do when we are using
