I'm sure!  You've already gone through so much!  Sorry, didn't mean to frighten you, just letting you know that with chronic use, there is a sort of w/d.

You'll be fine I'm sure.  Take care!

You should be just fine after 10 days.  From what I've seen, it's with chronic use (several months or more) where people run into problems.    Try not to worry about it (I know, easier said than done).

Thanks Weaver & Nursegirl ,   Just called the VA Dr.  . Was told it's OK to remove the patch . I am only on Day#7 jump very little W/D discomfort tire fast sleeping  could better , but feel good about myself again & like the clearer head .
Will i be OK after useing it for 10 days , Please after the last 30 days of W/D i don't want any thing to do with " Discontinuation syndrome"

I agree with weaver.  You'd actually be wise to not stay on the Clonidine too long either, as it has its own "discontinuation syndrome", which can include anxiety, hypertension, tachycardia.

Call your doc and ask about it.  You should be allowed to just stop it.  Get your doc's input first though.

Clonidine reduces your heart rate and blood pressure. That could be making you feel tired. Feeling low energy after acute withdrawal of opiates is also pretty normal. Some people feel anxious when they stop clonodine, as the heart rate increases and blood pressure goes back up. Call your prescribing doctor and ask if it would be okay to remove it, and if he says no, I'm sure they will explain why.
