? about calms forte

First of all thanks for the advice on my other question from all who gave it. Now I have a ? about myself. A few months ago I started having what I consider panic attacks. I felt like my marriage was falling apart and couldnt figure out why (now I know why tho) I was wrestling with if I wanted to end the marriage and how I would support my kids when I am not employed. I went to our family doc and he prescribed me 3.75 tanxene 1 or 2 of them per day. Once I started suspecting my husband was abusing his pain meds and started reading up on it online I also ran across stuff about how easy it is to get addicted to anxiety meds and I got all freaked out and quit taking them. Well I am a worrier... I am really good at it and my mom mentions that maybe the meds dr prescribed arent strong enough. I tell her I quit taking them because I was scared of them. She tells me that if I dont do something I will end up having a nervous breakdown. So I come up with the plan to cut all pills in half and try to to only take one half in am and one half in evening but if my anxiety acts up to never go more than the prescribed 2 whole pills. I was still scared of them and worried that my kids could end up with both parents addicted or abusing meds. Then I read about calms forte on here and went and got me some. Seems like it helps with the anxiety especially the anxiety I have about getting hooked on the tranxene lol! Then I read another post where a nurse warned someone off about calms forte but never gave a reason why.
My questions does anyone have experience with calms forte, good or bad? Also what chance would I have getting dependent or addicted taking 1 or 2 of the 3.75 mg tranxene per day.

there is more to becoming addicted than just taking the pills. especially with benzos. and i really dont think you have anything to worry about as long as you are only taking it for prevention of anxiety. i am an opiate addict and i had debilitating anxiety. when i say debilitating i mean couldnt and didnt leave my room. as i understand everyone has their d.o.c. and their own reasons and causes for becoming addicted i took xanax as need for panic attacks(a much stronger benzo) on top of klonopin as a daily and never ever had a problem even when i stopped taking them all together as i didnt need it anymore. i would however suggest that if the natural works for you stick with it because your anxiety may be much more managable. but also understand that if it is still an issue there are just some people that just need to take the benzos to function in their daily lives and if this is the case dont let your worries stop you from taking the meds to help you in your daily life. also, be careful with natural supplememnts because many people forget that just because its natural doesnt mean it doesnt have negative affects and there is such a thing as taking too much especially if you are taking other medicines. so just keep in mind that if you continue the natural supplements you have to tell your doctor of any natual supplements you are on in case there is a conflicting med or some kind of medical problem  where knowing what you are taking may help them to conclude your diagnosis. but anywyas good lucks to you and i think a good solution to some of your problems may be taking a yoga class or something similar that will "center your chi" so to speak haha. in other words would help to calm your nerves.  but like i said good luck to you and message me if you have any questions or just need an outlet to talk. take care and i hope this helps.

Most important fact about Tranxene
Tranxene can be habit-forming if taken regularly over a long period. You may experience withdrawal symptoms if you stop using Tranxene abruptly. Consult your doctor before discontinuing Tranxene or making any change in your dose.
