suboxone

It's been awhile since I have been on this site....9 months to be exact. The last time I was on was one of my many CT attempts...well now I'm back with a different approach. I'm in day 2 of  suboxone program. I know that everyone here is so much more accepting of a CT but I have my reasons. My husband lost his job last year therefore I am the only one bringing in income. For me to take off work is impossible...yes I'm one of those who takes care of my self last probably why it was so easy for me to get myself into this mess to begin witH. I chose this program in hopes that it will push me in the right direction. I made it very clear to my doctor that I do not want to be on this long term and I gave him an end date. I'm setting up counseling today and my husbands friend goes to NA meetings daily that I think I'm going to tag along with this weekend. Anyhow...my concerns....I feel so out of it. Is this normal and if so when does it get better? I'm so tired and cloudy. I stayed home from work yesterday and pretty much slept all day. I'm at work today and wish I could go home. Is this normal? I forced breAkfast down, drinking tons of fluid. What can I do so that I don't feel like A zombie??? My other question is about FMLA...am I able to use FMLA if I am in treatment??

Yes,, I was allowed FMLA and short term disability while in treatment!! I do know it all depends too on the company you work for.  We have a lot in common...Im soo excited for you for today!! Huge huge step and you will feel sooo much better after your appointment today. My FMLA was all handled by the outpatient program and all the therapists I saw. I also got my primary MD in in it too,,,to make sure my FMLA was approved. I wish you the best! ~Bkitty
