1 Year Clean!

A year ago right now, I took my last pill.  It has been such an intense year, but I am so proud to say I'm clean!  Staying in recovery is still the most important thing to me, because it will allow me to be the best mom and the best wife I can be.  

Thanks so much for all you have done for me on this board.  You are all so courageous and so generous with your support...you rock!

YAY! This is truley a wonderful accomplishment and something to be proud of! Which I am sure you are :)

A year must seem like a lifetime to a recovering addict, I know it sure as hell feels like it for a girlfriend of an addict. Hearing your accomplishment truely warms my heart and gives me more hope that one day too my boyfriend can achieve this.

He is 3 months sober and I am so proud of him. Congrats to you!!!

Dinner was great and I'm looking forward to my day off tomorrow.  

And since I know you all give great advice, I'll just HAVE to go shopping for a new purse and new shoes tomorrow! I don't want to start ignoring advice now!!

That first year can be heven or hell sometimes at the same time LOL. Congrats, I remember celebrating my first year, it was awsume.

Thanks!  I have a mani/pedi set up for Thursday...certainly counts for self care in my book!!
