10 hydrocodone a day

Hi, I'd really like to wean myself off of a ten a day 750 hydrocodone habit, is this even possible?  I'd like to be clean by the new year if at all possible.  Please help with useful info.

Hi and absolutely! What worked for me was making a plan,  setting a quit date and getting all my supplies ready.  Stick close to this forum you will get lots of good advice.  Immodium,  music,  a positive attitude, staying hydrated and forcing myself to be active had me through the worst of it on day 2. You can definitely ring in the New Year clean and it will be one of the best decisions you ever made!

Yes, even if tapering , you can make it happen. I'm on day 4 on percocets.

I do not see any follow up comments from you. I can only assume you didn't go through with getting yourself clean. If I'm wrong, sorry. I wish you the best. Getting clean is relatively easy. Don't get me wrong, withdrawals are tough but your focus needs to be on staying clean. That's the rough part. You will be tested and tested and tested. You may even fail. If you do, get back on the clean wagon and keep on going. I know it is possible to get and stay  clean. I hope you read this and set a goal for yourself.
