11 days clean! from methadone!!

Hello out there and to the people who helped me so far.....ty so much u guys have really helped me get this far. Im leaving in a day or two at the most, and wanted to say a few things....the physical pain of detox is over but when u guys said "when ur detox is over the real fight begins." I thought if I just get past physical I got this. I was so wrong......im having a hard time with the energy crash and keep trying to push just to make me something to eat. Sitting in my house I worked so hard to get is also depressing the f out of me. But my will is strong BELIEVE THAT!!! I have been living by the minute and seconds just to prove it to myself that I can and will beat this. My screen name is beatnotbroken, and when I was coming up with that name I was feeling so beaten by this addiction but ill be damned if it breaks me. And now I feel that I am beating and breaking the chains of addiction!! So all of u pple oout there that might read this...YOU HAVE TO WANT THIS FOR YOU(ty evolveru u helped me find that part) and ty to all the oothers who posted for me u have etched urself into my heart as well. Ill have no contact with no one for a month when I leave and just wanted to say a few things before I left. Keep saving lives u helped save mine......josh 11 days clean =))))

Congrats on 11 days!!! That's a huge accomplishment and you should feel a ton of pride making it this far!
I'm 55 days off methadone after 9 long years on it. I'm still dealing with the energy crash, sleepless nights, and anxiety some days where my heart just races for no reason. But, there are also days where I feel fine. Methadone detox certainly will test our patience.
I think it's great that you're choosing rehab for after care and with your positive, fighting attitude... There's no doubt you'll do great!

what an inspiration for everyone to see.  congrats on the 11 days.  
the mental part is worse that the physical.  i cannot even lift my daughter out of the crib, let alone watch her all day.  gonna have to do it soon.. bills will be due.
