1.5yr clean guys!

Hey guys.......
Well here i am....at the 1.5yr mark clean from Heroin. I never in a million years thought i would be saying that. Yippeee.

Anyway, just wanted to post to hopefully show people that it can be done. If we keep fighting.......WE win. Not the drugs. I honestly thought i would be taking Heroin until it put me in a box, i never thought i would kick the habit but here i am.......clean and happy. My life started the day i stopped taking Heroin and it only gets better, right?

Anyway, you guys are the only people that knows about my addiction as i hid it from everyone.......therefore i want to THANK everyone for helping me reach this mark. ALL you guys are my Angels.

Thanks to the people who have sent me PM's congratulating me..........your all so sweet!

That is a great job....Keep up the good work. Also, I think it's awesome to have someone on the forum with so much clean time under their belt....it shows your dedication as well. Pretty soon we will be reading your 2 year post!!!!

CONGRATS, i am so happy for you. you have overcome one of, it not the most difficult drugs and here you are today, 18 months clean. this goes to show you if you want something bad enough it can be done. well well done :)

That is so encouraging..1.5 years!...i read a really disheartening post the other day...that the only way to stay clean is thru use of sub or methadone...i had so hoped this was not true...thanx...1.5 years is great!...and encouraging
