16 Months Off Fioricet Today

Feeling good still and so happy to have F behind me. I just read several posts from people either battling it or had just quit. Keep going! The side effects were so awful--wildly swinging moods, irritable, little sleep from the caffeine, etc. Life is 100% better.
Again, thanks to the support people on this site give!

Thanks. And also a big congrats to Vicki595 on her milestone!

Re: aftercare: I went to a therapist for a while and also went to AA for a while, and I read every book I could find on recovery.
These days I exercise, try to keep stress levels as low as possible (not always able to do!), and pretty much have just gotten out of what was a automatic reaction to stress/moods/migraines. I abused Fioricet for nearly 4 years, which is a long time, but not much of my total life as an adult. I had many more years without it than with. Short term solutions to stress just backfire in a huge way. I had to learn the hard way!
