1st day off adderall(adderrall) :(

by kweenofharts, Aug 04, 2008 06:03PM
I just want to be sober.  I feel unbearable tired.  This is not my first time to fight this, but I want to not take anymore, and I want to not want anymore.  What can I expect for the next few days?  I truly do not remember anything except sleeping for days last time I stopped.

Okay, also I should mention I am taking hydrocodones. (only about 1 a day now).  I am also taking xanax, valium, or lorazepam to go to sleep.  I also smoke pot at night.  I want to be free from all of this.

Hi,
I'll try to help but I need a little more information. How much adderall (adderrall) were you taking? How were you taking it? And how long had you been using it? That's the first issue. Generally you will have very little energy and sleep quite a bit. Other than that, most of the withdrawal from adderall (adderrall) will be psychological ie. You will crave the drug because youre so darn tired. It will get better each day, just bear with it and you should adjust back to normal in a couple of weeks.
the bigger issue in my opinion is the benzoids (Xanax, Valium etc). Again, same questions. When? How much? How long? DO NOT stop those suddenly and for goodness sake don't take them and the opiates (hydrocodone) with the adderall (adderrall).quote frankly taking them together will kill you. I highly suggest you see a doctor to get off the benzoids. You must taper off them or you will have seizures. Maybe someone else can give you a taper plan for them. I'm not qualified really to give you a schedule. My main concern when I saw what you were taking together is to advise you that those drugs together are very very dangerous. The pot I'm not concerned about so much. Please post again and tell us what amounts etc. you are taking. I'm scared for you because the mixture is very dangerous. Give me some more info and I'll try to help. The good news is you can get through this and get well and it won't be long at all before you feel much much better. The people on here are fabulous and will help. Please post or see a doctor immediately.

I am not taking a lot.  I am down to 5 or 10 mg of add a day.  1 hydro and 1/2 to 1 and a half anxiety meds a night.  Sometimes I can skip the benzos.  I was sober for a while, (2 months) but got back on the PP's in March- on and off the benzos since march, and only about 6-8 weeks on the add.

i have taken addy for months at a time and when i got off it was simply being aggrevated, somewhat depressed and tired with no ambition. But it was done an over with in 2-3 days for me then back to normal. I would be ALOT more worried about the vicoden and benzos your on...as for the weed...lol...i wouldnt worry about that. Drop that last since it will keep you calm during all this and help you sleep at night.
