1st day on sub/no opiates

Today i going to be my first day off opiates-again-but this time i will try using the suboxone.  Just woke up and i know i don't have to start it yet, i'm really pretty excited to get clean and start living again.  thank you all for being here, this time i am staying here to chart my own progress as well as get support from ya'll.

its also wierd to be thinking that i'll be taking pills only once a day instead of  every 2or 3 or 4 hours----YEAH!!

oh boy-don't i knw that is true! Last time it was worth it for me to go thru hell again because i knew with pills-"just for awhile" i would feel better- and i could try and wean off--yeah right-if they are there i will take them all till their gone...

Congrats! I've found these forums to be a great inspriation too. Stay with us and let us in on the journey.  I find it helps me to document my troubles so you have somewhere to go and read about how bad it was... because your mind, at some point, will try and trick you into thinking it wasn't that bad.
