2 months clean after 4 years of suboxone!

As I posted here before, during my detox, I have been a long time IV heroin addict, followed by a year of methadone and 4 years of suboxone.

I went from 10mg of suboxone to 2mg of suboxone within a few months and then finally on May 20th I took my last .5MG

I have to say, the withdrawal was hell, I thought I was going to die during those 2 weeks of hell, but time went by and while I am still not 100% and not even close, I am more or less free and even to some extent happy.

Suboxone is a terrible terrible drug, very difficult to get off of, id say on part with methadone. It helps you in some ways, but if you are not careful it is an addiction as bad as heroin. I am so happy to be rid of it and not to feel that I have to take a pill every 12 hours to feel alive! :)

I hear ya man.  I was on suboxone for about 1.5 years.  I actually stopped the sub about two weeks ago and I was relapsing with vics and oxy.  I was doing that for a while until I said enough is enough.  I can't let this go on and control who I am and abuse all the people that I love.  I hope that I'm getting close to being somewhat better so that I can function somewhat normally.  Who knows.....I'm just 5 days clean of the vics and oxy.
