2 scares

i had two scares yesterday.....i got two things in the mail on the same day. one was from my health insurance company, the other from my pharmacy and said "confidential" on the envelope. my heart started beating so fast. I thought OMG Im in for it now, they looked back through old records and saw that Ive been red flagged recently and got more than one Rx for same medicines by different doctors and Im in deep trouble now!!!! . TUrns out the Pharmacy one was just a reminder for my Advair inhaler refill and info, and the health insurance was just a flu shot reminder, LOL.  My god though, I was really scared there for a minute!!!!    I thought my insurance was dropping me, the pharmacy was contacting the DEA on me and Id be hauled off to jail any minute, lol.

So thankful to have this all behind me now I tell ya.
(for those who never read my story long ago, i was red flagged by my insurance co, and almost got in big trouble with multple scripts --though not forged or anything)

Ahhh, the paranoia of an addict.  I got scared just reading your post and I haven't even gotten anything in the mail.  You are too right.  Thank the Lord we are putting this behind us!

I used to find myself looking around for cops when walking into the local pharmacy to pick up my legitimate (all from the same doctor) script, and fully expected to be nailed when I picked it up (because I'd call it in a week early per insurance company guidelines).
