2 years post Methadone withdrawal

I have been completely off Methadone for 2 years and 8 months (after 7 years if continual use for pain). I don't know how I lived through it but I do it one day at a time. I still have days where the detox comes back like it was in the first week. I will have 5 days or so where I sleep real good and then, wham, it all comes back. I have found so many things to be helpful over the years. One, is an ionic foot bath. I found mine on line for $280.00. And another one is the Epson salt baths and of coarse saunas (be careful not to stay in too long). My biggest problem was constipation. My system just did not start to work on its own. After spending all my money on colonics and herbs I finally found a product that worked. It is called Oxypowder. So now I just keep my chin up and stay close to God and pray that this will all end soon. My question is, "how long will this last??" I can still feel it coming out of my bones and my toungue tingles, etc., etc. Who could invent such a horrible drug??

The digestive tract maintains a balance between healthy and potentially harmful micro-organisms. Healthy micro-organisms, also called microflora, are residents of the digestive tract that have a protective role in our bodies.

When we grow older, use prescription drugs such as antibiotics and corticosteroids, eat meat, travel, and have digestive disorders, the proportion of healthy microflora in our bodies declines and is less able to protect us from disease.

wow, have you tried amino acids?

Acidophilus may help your digestive system as drugs can kill all the natural things in our systems and Acidophilus can replenish many of them.
