20 months (yesterday)!!!

Checking in again to say all's well. Pretty soon it'll be 2 years since Fioricet was a focus of my life. That picture is getting smaller in my mind's rear view mirror, thank God. Family, friends fill my life now. Anyone in the situation I was in, keep on going and let time help you get your life back. I'll check back in at the 2 yr mark! Thanks to all here for the help!

Hi cork,
Exercising is indeed something I have been doing.  I was doing weight training when I was on sub, but the detoxing n subsequent sluggishness had made that impossible.  So on about day ten, I dragged myself to my treadmill.  Jogged one lap.  .25 of a mile.  Now I jog at least a mile every day but still deal with sluggishness.  I've lifted a couple times but haven't been steady with lifting.  Again I thank you for your post.  Twenty months is indeed a huge milestone n very inspirational.

Yes, it certainly does get better! Just keep going each day. I took a long walk every morning and most days still do. Now  I like to run or go to the gym, but just getting out first thing really helped me. Break up your old routine!
