24 days clean...kelley is at 25 days..

wow it seems like years, but its on;y 24 day clean.  kelley is at 25 days, i guess i couldnt wait for a month to post...its been really tough just keeping busy and learning how to do things sober, but im enjoying life again..and i hope all you out there on days 1-5 know that life is good and much clearer without our drugs..i just went away this weekend with my gf and it was great.. no pills..   theres tough days and there will be more to come..but you have to fight it.

love you all and thank you to everyone who helped me during the first week or two, i needed all the help and support that you all gave me and i happy i found this board :)

These are good stories. I've been watching you guys go thru this from the beginning and hanging on to each other. Congrats to you all!
Just don't let your guard down! Hard times are still coming. Watch for these dates ....3 months, 6 months, 9 months  etc. They seem to go in waves. Be prepared.

hello to my hero....who would have thought that you and i would support each other thru detox?? You, 15 years younger in New York, and me, who has no frickin idea how old I am living across the U.S. in California.  I have taken comfort in your words, and admired your strength every day. You sometimes express exactly how i'm feeling, and thru your music I get hope that life is just going to be o.k.  I wanted to fight as hard as you were, i wanted to get thru the physical pain with you.  
And now we are just watching the clouds rise above our heads, out into the sky.  And we're left blinking in the sunshine, trying to figure out how to make it work without drugs.  I pray we have the strength EVERY SINGLE TIME we are faced with the choice to use or not, that somewhere deep inside we do the right thing.  EVERY TIME.
I keep losing track of my days.  I watch you and just add one!  I'm so proud of you Ronny, you have my deepest respect.
