NO! I really dont think a 3 day detox is enough. Thats just my opinion. My friend went into a detox center and only stayed 3 days cuz he felt normal, not sick or anything...well he was given, **Im guessin** Sub for those 3 days....then he got home and was DEATHLY SICK for about 5 days!! So just ask if you can at least do a 10 day taper or something...

Thats what I recommend...thats just me speaking from my friend and what he told me....after 3 days

well my doctor who is an addiction specialist psychiatrist had told me when i want to detox i could do inpatient or the 3 day detox with subutex. an inpatient detox can cost up to 10 to 40 grand easily and they treat you like a prisnor and a loser. thats how it is in new orleans ,la. after the hurricane i was inpatient at the nicest rehab hospital just to get off xanax and vicodin. i was fine and off it with subutex and phenobarbitol in like 3 or 4 days. i just hated the way i was treated and i was forced in all the groups and all that. i was prescribed the medicine from my doctor for my medical problems and i decided i wanted to get off so i went to detox. all i want is to just detox. i will not do an inpatient detox. also the 3 day detox is a thousand dollars. i asked my doctor if he could detox me himself and he said he can't b/c i need my blood pressure checked and all that. in the 3 day outpatient detox u go in at 12pm to 4pm and are monitered. you lay in lounge chairs and can watch tv or sleep. now i don't know what to do.
