3 weeks clean!

Ya still isn't the same feel I had at day 14 the first time I quit but he gets harder each relaspe right? So here's my second detox and the physical withdrawals were extremely easy as they were not the first time. Though the mental battle has been just as hard, for me it's all psychological right now, I've been sleeping a good 5-8 hours each night so I've been alright. Trying to comment on all the post I see on here though I'm not as educated as I should be on all these drugs. If your struggling with opiate addiction than God bless cause it's a bumpy road. When I say mental battle I mean coping with life and dealing with life's bumpy roads and not being able to deal with it we'll. I dread work I dread having to do anything extra, I don't want to work out its weird. Nothing excites me besides sex (I'm 23 i don't think that will change) though it can be annoying that your old hobbies don't interest you.. Though I know il be happy again cause of my first detox I felt great and happy i thought I could handle the pills again ( I talked myself into a relaspe). So I know what to expect I'm a little more educated on the matter and I got NA for those thoughts of relasping!! Anything else I should be doing? I know eating and exercising is a bonus, which I have been doing but this last 6 days have been mentally incapable of doing that (exercising that is) I can eat just don't have the urge. Anyways yall have a good day and watch TCU wreck against Texas tech!!

It's normal to lose interest in things during early withdrawal.  I felt the same way...I just didn't care about anything.   I used to have loads of hobbies, and I didn't want to do any of them.

It will come back.  The pleasure centers of our brains have gotten messed up.  It will take time for our bodies to re-learn how to create our OWN feel good chemicals (endorphins.)

Congrats on 3 weeks!!!

I'm on two weeks and know exactly what you mean by losing interest in stuff. It worries me a little that Im going to change so much, that I become a different person and things like my hobbies and even marriage become strained. Well done on the 3 weeks though dude . I'll be there on next Saturday
