I feel so much better....I still feel guilty for what I did to my family...they have stood by me through it all....to those of you just starting out don't give up keep going and stay strong....it is not easy but you can do it....I love this site!!!!

Congadulations!! I had lots of problems with guilt in the beginning.  And I still have some now.  Not nearly as much as when I first quit.  I finally had to realize I can't change the past but I can change the future.  So happy for you!!

Ahh good old guilt....I know that part. I remember it well. I promise it will go away with time. Do you go to meetings?? Have you sat down and made ammends with the people you hurt?? It helped me a lot. And with time the guilt lifted. First you have to accept and forgive yourself. That takes time. Don't let the guilt manipulate you cause it will. Work thru this emotion. Its a process. Ok. Hugs.....bama.
