3rd day of Vicodin Withdraw

I have been off Vicodin for the last 3 days.  Today is the 4th day and the worst.  I take Aderral (adderall) XR for ADHD.  Can this help with wd symptoms or hurt?

I don't really think it is going to make a difference, because you are withdrawing from the vicodin, not the adderall (adderrall), so you will still have the same symptoms associated with vicodin withdrawal.

hey girlee...well when I detoxed I couldn't even tolerate coffee cause of the anxiety ...you might want to give the aderril a rest for the next few days....its hard to say ..it has its own set of withdrawals so you might be setting yourself up for disaster by not taking it
I would give it a try without ..if you start to feel worst you can always go ahead and take it later on...it is a stimulant and they usually only make the anxiety worst ....good luck and God bless...Gnarly

I am not even sure what adderall (adderrall) is but I know what it is like to be on your 3rd day. I am on day 9 and when I was on day 3 I thought for sure that I was dying. Hang in there. How much vicodin were you taking? And how often?

Great job on the 3 days clean!!!!!

Just build on that one day at a time. W/d's can last a few days or a few weeks so hold on tight, keep posting and praying and talking it out with people on the site. Most of all just stay the course towards freedom.  You will never regret your decision. I have never heard a person say " man an I glad I started taking pills agan"

I was taking anywhere from 5-10 Lortab a day for about a year.  I got down to about 3 a day and went cold turkey.  Day 3 is the worst.  I'm shacking and every bone in my body hurts.  Drinking lots of herbal tea.

Good advise on the Adderril.  I don't take it often unless I have a work project.  I only have a small dose.  I won't have any wd symptoms from it.
Believe it or not I've never had any addiction problems before.  The pain from my back surgery was so bad and this drug thing took over.
