6 Months for Gizzy!! Congrats

I just want to give a great big congrats to Gizzy who is 6 months clean today!!!  It’s a milestone for him and I am sure it hasn’t been easy, but he is a true fighter.  Keep it up Gizzy!!!  Your strength is an inspiration to many.  Thank you for being such a good friend to me and so many of us on here..

Well my turn...GIZZY, GIZZY, GIZZY...6 months is SUPER GREAT...let the happy dance begin...Thank you for being here for me...Gosh look at  all the praise for our Gizzy...hope he dont get the BIG head...Keep the lights on for SARA...last time she flew over my house...she not only scared my grandson(thought she was a witch) she crashed into a tree...landed in grands treehouse...LOL  Laughing just thinking stupid things we have done while on doc...flipping golf carts..LOL Way to go my friend...

Awwwww who knew drug addicts could be so sweet, lol. Ty everyone, I would not have made it this far without all the great support here. I only worked half a day and heading out to the golf course in a bit. I beat the pro last weekend by 12 so I have been pumped up since, lol. It is where I am the happiest and since I am clean I know longer flip golf carts on top of myself:)

Getting clean was quite the battle, i kept failing for the longest time and truly believed I could not be happy without drugs, but let me tell you I was wrong. It took some time to heal and feel better but time heals all and if you stick to your plan you will see. It's almost like a rebirth, a new way of looking at life.  Today I can look at myself in the mirror and be comfortable in my shoes and proud of what I accomplished. Almost losing my life changed me and helped me. I feel like a lucky man today.
