7 Months Clean...

I really can't believe that it's been seven months. I can't put in to words how my life has changed; all I can say is that there is a very bright light at the end of the tunnel. Once the fog lifts you have to squint sometimes just to see.
Anyway, I was thinking about all the pithy things to say on this post but decided that thank yous are enough. So, thanks to everyone for helping me along the way. I still struggle, as most of us do, and constantly find support and wisdom in your posts. Some break my heart; some make me want to reach out and shake the person posting; but in most I see myself and try to prevent the person from making the mistakes I did.
Anyway, thank you, thank you.

You guys really are wonderful. I am, for once, at a loss for words. But I'm sure that sooner or later a post will pop up that draws me to the keyboard.
My wife has an autoimmune disease; about two years ago she found a web forum about her disease and began posting on a regular basis. I questioned her about how her cyber friends could really help, provide support, blah, blah.
So - she gets great joy in her many I told you so moments whenever she sees me on this forum.  
This place is very important to me. Thanks again.

You will get here before you know it. I posted once that when I made two months clean I told my wife - she replied something like "Already? Boy, that went fast." I just stared at her and then we both started laughing because, as you well know, it doesn't always go fast. But looking back it's hard to imagine seven months. I look forward to that post from you.
