7 days of usage....what to expect?

Ok, so I am back, I got on Oxy again 80 mgs for 7 days and I am stopping today!! What should I expect for withdrawals? Will they be as bad as they were before when I was using for months?!?!?! Please tell me no!!!!!!!!! Why did I do this to myself again?

i agree with lesa above.....i would think you might experience some of the RLS and maybe some sleep issues again, but otherwise, it should NOT be as bad as the first time....at least that's been MY experience with hydros....i don't know if it's just because we kinda already know what to expect so the same apprehension and fear isn't there like it was the first time, or if our bodies somehow know that we did it before, and after using for just a week, this time won't be as bad.....either way, i honestly do not think it will be as bad as the first time, but just my opinion from my personal experience....also, i agree, the mind is the big issue  here....that is exactly where the battle will be.....you can help remedy that with aftercare and/or just reaching out to someone you trust or the people on here.....EVERYONE will help you.....just trust that.....good luck to you!!!  wishing you well.....kim

Hi Jen.. You are human and a addict.. that is why.. Do you have after care alike aa na ? As far as if it will be as bad.. I do not think so.. maybe the restless leg and not being able to sleep for a couple of day's but other then that you should be fine.. It also will not last as long... The biggest problem I see is what it does to your mind.. that is where the battle will be.. keep posting and reaching out for support.. This is only temporary.. wishing you well.. lesa

yes, your wd will be just as bad, at this point in your life something needs to happen, if i was in your situation i would put myself in treatment
i think its great that people try to detox at home, but once they have tried a several ways to detox without professional help, it may be time to seek treatment
i do not know many oxie addicts who have stayed clean without tx, that particular drug is a monstor

Why did you do this??  Cuz your an addict.......I am glad you are back and going to start over today........That is what is important.  Never give up!!!  I dont know about the wd's.....I wouldnt think it would be as bad but what you need to do is figure out why you go back to using.  Are you getting any aftercare??  You can do this.......dig deep and fight like he!!..............sara
