84 days clean!!!!!

I am gonna make a long story short....my husband of 20 yrs.  He had a crack addiction in 08 and also after that he a affair 3 months later....we decided to try and work it out.....after we had gotten back together.....he started going to pain clinic fought back and forth....so this is where my addiction comes in I started taking them they numbed me from feeling the real life.....In Jan of this year I decided to stop...he said he needed his and I told him I could not do this with him still doing them in the house.   He also stopped..well today he has went to pain clinic and got some....I am so upset that he would do this knowing our problems..How am I suppose to live in my house knowing he is taking them.  Help

Glad to see your post. I was wondering how it was going with you & I just wanted to give you a big Hi-Five on staying clean in your difficult situation. I've already posted my thoughts on your domestic situation. Hold fast and put yourself first! You deserve it. If it drives you crazy at home try to get to some meetings. All the best to you both.

I can relate to you on this...My hub has some bad back, shoulder and hip issues..We own a drywall bus..It is hard work and breaks the body down...He was only taking his pain med as needed..But when I went clean, he gave them up. It is hard to know they are there and our lil ol tape plays back...It is a tuff one but you have to get tuffer and re-direct your self quick..Does he have to have them for pain?? Or is he just doing the merry-go-round from one addiction to another? You just focus on you and God will work a blessing through you and it should rub off on him..He will want what you got..The blessing roll in and he will soon see the light.Just hang tight you have come a very long ways...Put your Boundries up..OK
