87 days clean zero sex drive!

Good news 87 days clean!!  Bad news zero sex drive.  First week wds my sex drive was insane!  Now it's nothing. So bad my wife is questioning me!  I don't blame her in some regards. Any other males experienced this?  Please tell me I'm not alone.

DUDE go to the doctor andv get your testosterone checked its not uncommon to have it take coming off narcotics they can give you shots for it.......................Gnarly

It seems to go in waves for the first few months.  It will come back.  Try dating your wife again.  Go to supper or out for a movie, just the 2 of you.  Sometimes just reconnecting on an emotional level can help the romance.

My husband and I got clean off heroin 4 years ago and it took around 6 to 7 months before his sex drive returned. Its still not what it was while we were on drugs, bit its "normal" now. It will come back, hang in there and don't get frustrated with your wife, just tell her the truth.

    I was wondering the same thing, my husband and i were on methadone, been off for 5 days, my sex drive is already coming back...his not at all!  I've heard it affects men differently and takes longer for them.  I know opiates can really affect mens testosterone.

73 days and same story here. Gotta be a part of the detox process. Give it some time. Maybe someone will post who has some hope for when it comes back!!!!!!!!!

I hear you man, truly.  I've just been really up front to say it isn't him,  it is biological with me and something that just needs to work its way out.  He's been working like crazy at getting a new venture up himself so it's luckily been on the back burner for us both.  I just want to move it up to the front burner.  The head games are the worst - at least with us girls we don't have to rise to occasion!  :) Hang in there.  Everyone says it does come back.  

Maybe really be honest with her, reassure her.

Great job on 58 days!  Yeah I'm getting super anxious about it. Not good. And with me I start playing head games and that makes it nearly impossible for it to work if you catch my drift.  It's starting to cause drama with the wife. :0(

AH don't tell me that - I'm at day 58 and waiting for it to return.  I am female but I had hoped it would come back by now - sadly not so much.  I know these things take time but boy am I anxious.    Feelin your pain!
