9 months today...

Question

Hmmm....im still here, im still clean (and sober b/c damn ive wanted a drink!!)...and things are definatly still getting better. If theres one thing i have learned its that everything doesnt get perfect overnight. Time seems to be working...putting time inbetween me and drugs allows me to see things more clearly. Its work....thats for sure...but so far the rewards have outweighed the negatives!

I like to think of the nine month mark as the giving of birth to your brand new sober life!!!! Yippeeee!
Yep it's work.  No doubt about it.  But honest, good, true and healthy work that only makes you a better person.

Hey Girl great to see you post...and your doing great keep working the N/A program and your life will change it has blown me away how much I heve seen it improve lives we have so many success storys we have a guy who is going to school to become a engineer he has been at it 8 yrs and is almost ther we have a girl that has become a nurse again 8yrs of school another that just finished school now is a lawyer and it has inspired me to go back to school to become a substance abuse counselor I plan to start in january this is a amazing progam the sky is the limit once you arrest the disease keep pushing forward work a honest progam listen to your sponcer and hitch your wagon to a shooting star.........Gnarly

Congrats on 9 months.  That sounds so huge to me.  I remember when you first joined, yet I am only on day 6 again.
Your clean time is sacred and it's very encouraging to read that you have done it.
