A Christmas Miracle...hope for us all.

So not long ago i posted about an issue i was having b/c i had lost my job and insurace along with it therefore could not afford my visits or my script. my regular doctor not only refused to help me unless i paid him the big buckd but also insulted me and filed a lawsuit for slander and blackmail b/c i reported his actions to the state. wel he is still taking me to court and i cant afford representation. however, the great news is that i found a doctor who not only made a free house call to me on Chrstmas day, but also paid for my whole script of 90  pills so i could do a safe slow taper! she also is having her personal attorney represent me in court which she is paying for as well! She had never even met me before and just talking to me said she felt it was worth it and the only thing she wanted in return was for me to volunteer and the soup kitchen which i already do! i asked her if i could pay her back and she said "no, i dont want your money, just pay it forward." if this was not a christmas miracle i dont know what is. so to all of you out there that dont think there is hope for you or that there is no one willing to help this is proof that there is! i live in philadelphia where the population is 1.5 million people and through putting in the time and effort into my recover i found help. so moral of the story is dont give up! i was a heroin/ oxy addict for close to five years im now 21 and have been clean for a year and a half and i will be done my sub treatment by the end of february. take your life back. its really up to you and know that you are worth it and that there are people out there that know you are worth it too! merry christmas everyone.. take care and god bless.

WOW, I am speechless...I just watched a show the was called "just pay it forward" SO i was very shocked to read those words....I am so happy for you, and agree with eagle, i sure hope he gets just what he derserves...God bless, and "just pay it forward"

Thats really good to hear......and I guess that your case will even give me something good to say about attorneys - - sure hope that your attorney scalps that Doc - I seriously hope that you are driving his Mercedes at this time next year!!!!  keep us informed of the progress that you make - - -

WOW!  I have read your other posts. This is amazing. That doctor really is a Christmas angel.
