I've taken adderall before.. never for any longer than a few months. I would always start to feel like I couldn't breath right, so I would stop taking them.
The first three days is the worst! I would feel like a zombie walking around half-dead, but everyday after that would get better and better.
If it's been 67 days.. maybe you could look into yeast problems? There is a spit test you can do to see if you have an overgrowth of yeast in your body. You take a glass of regular water and spit into it first thing in the morning (before drinking anything or brushing your teeth).. if the spit looks long like a jelly fish after a minute or so then you might want to take some probiotics for a few months and cut back on your sugar in-take.
There are a million other reasons why you could be tired too.. I just know I would crave a lot of sugar when I took adderall, so I thought I'd mention it to you!
Hope you feel better soon!
The tyrosine suggestion is the first time I've seen an accurate biochemical idea on many-a-discussion board. The only issue with taking more is that, that isn't quite the problem- but you're on the right track. Adderall fatigue is caused by the brain's natural dopamine process. Dopamine is the neurotransmitter, also referred to as the pleasure pathway, makes us feel peppy and driven. Adderall stimulates the production of dopamine but ALSO inhibits the production GABA; this absorbs
Helps with the absorbtion dopamine in the brain. Esentially, there is large amounts of dopamine floating in the brain over extended periods of time. The brain's receptors become use to the stimulation, this "raises the bar" in terms of how much we need to "feel" normal. When adderall is discontinued, your body still produces dopamine but, your brain doesn't "feel" it because of the numbed out receptors. Your body will eventually readjust but, until then... I'm not sure. I'm struggling with the same problem, I'm researching ways ti inhibit dopamine absorbtion or production. If anybody knows how, I'm all ears. Good luck and stay strong.
i'm going through the same thing, but mine is with barbiturate w/d. kind of ironic, but barb withdrawal causes fatigue also. i'd imagine it's much worse with amphetamines. both barbs and amphetamines take a heavy toll on your natural ability to sleep/wake...so it does take quite some time to get that back.
not personal experience with adderall....but it is normal to feel fatigue with adderall wd...it is not life threatening and for the most part it is a mental wd vs narcotics being both/mental and physical...the fatigue is common among narc wds as both drugs supply extra endorphins to the brain//many feel fatigue after narcotic cessation to be a physical symptom like the runs...but it is a result of taking endorphins away and waiting on the brain to "catch up" on endorphin production....sex, chocolate, shopping (:, laughter, gambling for some...all produce endorphins...exercise produces bu11loads and is good for a person who is in need of an energy/endorphin boost
good luck to u...tyrosine helps this feeling alot....2000-3000 mgs a day..it is an amino acid...good luck to u
