Addiction and Recovery

by confused456, Mar 24, 2008 02:46PM
Hi. I have something on my mind. It is really bothering me and I have to say something about it. These "notes" are not helping people who need help. Here is what I mean.

OK...our moods tell others A LOT!!! Some people will use their mood to cry out for help when they do not want to post. These notes are bumping everyone's mood and so how will we know if someone put in their mood that they are depressed, feeling like they wanna die, etc.......I hate this!!!! I have seen moods and sent personal messages just because of moods and helped a person who was afraid to post and I have received pm's about my mood as well. The support was great. I hate this and truly in my heart am concerned that someone may not get help or support when needed because of this!!!!

I SECOND THAT...TOO MUCH CLUTTER.  THE NOTES ARE FINE, JUST DONT PUT IN RECENT ACTIVITY

by flmagi, Mar 24, 2008 02:51PM
Yeah, they shouldn't be in recent activity. Who cares if someone sent a note, but the moods are important.

Thank you. Moods are very important and I think it sometimes is crucial that we notice peoples moods!!

I suggested on another post that maybe they can post the notes in a seperate column. That way the moods do not get bumped so fast.

Couldn't agree with you more. Personally, I can take the notes or leave them. They may be helpful for some people; others not so much. BUT I don't think they should take up room on the side so you can't see "moods."
Why can't they be just like pm's? I don't really want everyone to see if I leave someone a note or if someone leaves me one.

So we not only have complaints but sounds like some solutions as well. Now what do we do with them?

at the bottom there is a contact meh help  send your complaints and solutions there.  or maybe now you can talk to avisg about it...i dont really know how it works....dont they know addicts hate change?  lol
