All I can say about deadly xanax is not to ever take it. I was on des.prescription xanax for 10 yrs. Never abused it but its 2 yrs.im finally free of it n still feel withdrawal symptoms.
I had to relearn everything. It numbs you to the point of feeling nothing n on it you won't realize it but when you free yourself you do.
walking felt new to me the ground under my feet it was like all new I cry now.I didn't for 10 yrs.on that crap.
I have anxiety issues ( who dont)? But now I deal with it best I can instead of popping a pill.
I understand there are people who need meds.but unless you plan on being on benzos the rest of your life I'd seriously consider an alternative.
Life is about ups n downs n feelings n yes things can suck a lot but I'll take that over being so numb in my brain that writing with a pen feels like the first time.
Good luck to all of you on them.I thank god I stopped when I did. I missed me big time.
By the way,
How did your doctor appointment go today?
Yes it's possible.
Hope all is well with you...

Yes, absolutely! One of the paradoxes of prolonged drug consumption is that they can precipitate and/or exacerbate the symtoms that they were originally designed to treat. Its well documented that opioids can make pain patients hyperanalgesic or supersensitive to pain. Many longterm pain patients discover that their pain isnt nearly as severe once they've been detoxed.
Xanax is no different. Prolonged consumption can intensify an existing anxiety disorder and may even trigger new or dormant issues ie, agoraphobia, depression etc, etc, etc. Xanax should really only be used short term and as an adjunct to therapies which can root out the underlying causes of the anxiety/depression.
"Some of the symptoms that may occur as a result of long-term use of benzodiazepines include emotional clouding, nausea, headaches, dizziness, irritability, lethargy, sleep problems, memory impairment, personality changes, aggression, depression, agoraphobia, anxiety, and panic attacks, social deterioration as well as employment difficulties"
"There is evidence that reduction or withdrawal from benzodiazepines can lead to a reduction in anxiety symptoms"

Good luck on your journey
