Affects of Marijuana an already damaged liver

by Kimefish, Jul 31, 2007 05:40PM
I am a recovering alcoholic.  I currently have the lst stages of cirrohsis, and my blood screenings have been stable in the past few years.  Recently, however, my prothrombin time (PTINR) test results were very dangerously high.  This test shows my blood clotting factor.  Mine is testing as tho I was taking a blood thinner.  I understand that this means that my liver is not producing enough protein and platelets to clot properly.

I have smoked marijuana several times in the past year.  Maybe half a dozen times.  Could that be affecting my liver function????
