I've been on it since last Tues and only have enough for one day left (2mg's) what should I suspect after how should I feel and how long? If anything? I took 4mg's the 1st 3 days and today is my 4th day on 2mg's....I feel fine, but for some reason (probably from being an addict) I want to take them till there gone....

Okay, didnt sleep much last night, but Im okay so far. Not too bad but I can feel myself getting worse. I have two little boys, Im sorry I didnt get back to you last night, family situation. My oldest is 4 and my youngest is 2. They are my heart but boy they can run me in the ground. Im having to force myself off the couch to look after them and I hate that feeling. I dont want to but I still have a few pills left, I could just take one but Im afraid that would ruin it all and Im proud of myself for this one day! I feel so nervous though. Im going to ask my step dad if he has clonidine. It's safe to take? Im stressed..........bad. I also take care of my grandmother and clean her house and do her grocery shopping and I go to school. Im taking three classes.

Okie thanks girls and I have no intention to go back to them I remember how awufull the w/d's are and I can't go back to that life style finacially or physically....I'd rather deal w the w/d's assuming they wont be anywhere close to w/d-ing from the oxy....I can deal with little things but that was so horrible...

IF you wait til you feel bad that will cause a "spike" in drug levels.. Which increases the brains "need" for it... Wait 24 hours from what you took today take 1mg. Stop being stubborn. If you wait til you feel bad that may be 2 days then the process of your body ''cycling'' it out due to the half life will be thrown off.. This is done for a reason.. Trust us..

IF you have w/d's at all. But I totally agree with FLaddict. Both of us having been there done that with the sub you should hear us out. Take half or a quarter. Wait 24 hours.
Dont wait til you feel like s h i t . I doubt you will though.

Hi Hun! You are a stubborn one. Listen to what bettie and FL are telling you on how to take them. I started at 6mg and went down to 1/2 mg in 16 days. I have been off them for three days now and I feel good. Going from 2 mg to zero will cause problems. I hate to see you go out and use because of any w/d's you may (or may not) feel after the Sub.

Ahh I see, ok I know i'm going to take the last dose tommorow, because yes i'm hard headed,LOL and I just want to get rid of them (so my excuse is)

From what you 2 are saying is that I wont feel the w/d's till about thurs fri? And how bad I think I have a pretty fast metabolism....I appreciate both of your advice truly!

yeah I agree with Bettie... I feel like you didn't really ''get it'' if this is how you took them..  and she is also correct they are still in your system... they have a 36-37 hour half life.. which means after that amount of time half of what you took is still active in your body..

p.s. in case you forgot, i took em for 5 days and 72 hours after my last dose i felt great. I coulda stayed another week in detox but I left since I was only there for the medical detox. Youre doing it in 7-9 days, I did it in 5. FLaddict did it in ten. Just depends I guess. I would just split up the doses to as little as you can on the last few days...

you feel fine because theyre still in your system. Id wait 24 hours after you took your last dose and split that 2mg in half (im sure you can do that) and take that. Then 24 hours later take the other half. You should be fine. I keep telling you this...are you as hardheaded as I am or what gurl? :D

Well getting off at 2mgs can be tricky... ITs usually not low enough to get you past withdrawls. I personally weaned down to 0.5mgs for 2 days before stopping it. I took it for 10 days total. Usually withdrawls will start on the third day after stopping and they can vary in degree.. some people with the right metabolism will not have any their bodies use the half life and the rest of the taper so to speak.. others like myself with a high metabolism had to taper down further in order to have the easiest time stopping.
