Alprazolam and overdose

by jumpinski, Jun 25, 2007 12:00AM
I was wondering if xanax can kill a person if they overdosed? How much would it take? I have a friend quite addicted and actually buys them from people. I am worried!!

YES xanax can kill you if you take too many. i dont exactly how many you would have to take and i'm sure it varies with each person

also, xanax can cause ppl to "blackout" and do many things they wont even remember the next day. that alone can kill a person EXAMPLE: driving under the influence of xanax is MUCH MORE DANGEROUS that driving drunk and it only takes 1 or 2 pills for someone to balckout and its MUCH WORSE if you combine alcohol with them.

hope this helps, try to get your "friend" some professional help if you can

good luck,
tink  :)
