Am I going through withdrawals after sporadic benzo use?

I have been prescribed Valium for six years. I used it twice a week to sometimes twice a month. I noticed it started to do less and less over the years. Fast forward to one month ago. I will layout what I consumed

December 15: 1000 mg phenibut
December 16: 2 shots tequila, 5 mg Valium
December 17: 15 mg Valium
December 18: nothing
December 19: 10 mg Valium (started getting rebound insomnia now)
December 20: nothing
December 21: nothing
December 22: 2 mg klonopin
December 23-27: nothing
December 28: 9.5 mg Valium
December 29: 1000 mg phenibut
January 1: 9.5 mg Valium
January 2-9: nothing
January 10: 9.5 mg Valium, 1 mg klonopin
January 14: 1.5 mg klonopin (gave me only 4 hours sleep)

So in the last 22 days I've taken benzos on 4 of those days. I still get insomnia 3-5 days after last dosing

Any advice or thoughts on what I'm going through?

Also, prior to December 15 when I took that initial phenibut dose, I was sleeping very well every night for weeks and hadn't touched a
Benzo in probably 3 weeks

Is your goal here to be completely off everything?  At this point you are sending mixed signals to your brain.

Yeah I'd like to be off altogether. The only thing that's getting me is that rebound insomnia. I switched to klonopin because of the shorter half life. I don't see the point of having Valium linger in my system for days only to address acute insomnia. I have kava tincture and phenibut. I understand phenibut acts as a gabapentinoid and may be useful for benzo rebound symptoms.
